Afton Field Farm

Afton Field Farm is a pasture-based, multi-generational family farm in Corvallis, Oregon owned by Tyler & Alicia Jones. Tyler is a protege of Joel Salatin’s Polyface Farm in Virginia. We use multi-species, managed intensive rotational grazing methods similar to Polyface Farm to produce our wonderful products. We are committed to challenge the raising of food in ways that are respectful to the soil, animals, local community and the natural ecosystems we inhabit in an ongoing effort to be reverent participants in the grace that is our land and lives. Acknowledging the delicately interconnected nature of food systems, we strive to minimize negative agricultural impact on land and health through integrated rotational grazing and foraging methods, organic and humane practices and focus on local markets. Our cattle are raise on pasture and are 100% grass-fed and finished. We never feed them grains! Like all of our animals, we also don't give them hormones or antibiotics. Our beef is in high-demand, so get specific cuts of beef while you can! We are currently not selling 1/4, 1/2, or whole beef animals. We are selling individual cuts (ex. steaks, ground beef, roasts, etc)

Pastured chicken
After the chicks 3 week-stay in the brooder, growing adult feathers and getting strong enough to withstand the elements outside, they move out to the pasture. Each broiler chicken gets fresh pasture every day, once out in the field, for the last 4 weeks of their life. We butcher all of our poultry on-farm in our USDA-exempt licensed facility. We know that from chick until death, our chickens & turkeys are treated in the most humane and natural way possible. Our chickens love & appreciate that- and so will your health!

Raw Bottled Honey
Our bees get the royal treatment and we use natural remedies to promote their health and to protect them from mites or other pests. We have found that here on the valley floor our bees were having too much competition with other nearby apiaries and the chemical sprays used on nearby farms; therefore we now have our hives up in the hills of Corvallis. Our bees are stronger and are doing much better overall. Due to all the care and attention we give our bees, the honey is that much more healthful for you! Eat a tablespoon per day of our raw honey to prevent various allergies.
