Sweet Home Farms

Sweet Home Farms practices Humane Animal Husbandry, Low-Stress Handling and sustainable farming practices influenced by Joel Salatin techniques. We raise all of our animals as naturally as possible and NEVER use low level or sub-therapeutic antibiotics or medicated feed. Ever. Mangement Intensive Grazing combined with multi species interaction results in some of the most tender and FLAVORFUL meats around. We believe that transparency is one of our most valuable assests and so encourage all who are interested the chance to participate in the production of the food they eat. Come see for yourself and get involved by supporting locally raised food.

Pastured chicken
Raised on Pasture and moved to fresh grass twice-daily. Fed with vegetarian feed in addition to significant forageing of the grass and bugs. They have a darker yellow color due to all the beneficial vitamins and minerals they have ingested, not like that pale stuff found at the supermarket. Our birds are an excellant value!
