Stringtown Farms & Winery

We are a small lavender farm and winery in Pierce County. We grow 9 varieties of lavender, including both English and hybrid. Visit the wine tasting room and learn about growing grapes and making wine. There are picnic tables and a view of Mt. Rainier, so come out and enjoy a day at the farm!

The lavender gift shop & wine tasting room is open Friday through Sunday and by appointment on weekdays -- please call John at 360-832-4743 to make an appointment. The lavender farm is open daily during the lavender bloom season in July and August for u-cut lavender.

We have 9 varieties of lavender, including both English and hybrid, and one variety of white lavender. Field plants are available year around, and potted plants of various sizes during lavender season in July and August.

We grow various types of hybrid grapes that make great grape juice, including Geneva Red 7 (GR-7) and Agria.

White and Red Grape Wine
We make small lots of handcrafted wine, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Trio (Cab-Merlot and Leon Millot), Farmhouse Red (including estate grapes), Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Viognier. Most grapes are from the Columbia Valley.
