Saint Louis, Missouri
Sue & Family road trip to Sikeston for Food and Fun!!
2015-Aug-25 ~ 4:56 AM

Beggs Family Farm has become an every year occasion, (for the last 6-7 years), for about 10 to 15 members of my family to have a day of fun for all!!
We start our morning off about 9am, and hit the road for a 1.5 hour drive to Sikeston, MO.
We get to Sikeston about 10:30 (10:45) and head straight to Lambert's Cafe (usually around the 1st there)!! We eat a wonderful meal, and catch some rolls while were at it!! When we've had enough to eat, and get our energy going, we then head over to Beggs Family Farm, (only about 5-10 minutes from Lambert's). It does seem a little pricy to get in the farm, but there is so much to do, well worth it. All of our little ones have so much fun, especially the hay ride over to the pumpkin patch and get to pick their own pumpkin, and then take the hayride back. Then they are off to slide down the BIG slide, run around the smaller maze, feed the animals, and so on... Now I sit here looking at the calendar to see what Saturday we will be down again this year, October, 2015!!! We can't wait, even the kids have started asking, since the weather is changing a little, "how much longer before we go to that place with the breakfast and the pumpkins", of course I know what their talking about!!!
Can't wait to see what the big maze will look like this year!!!
Oh, and all of the staff at Beggs farm is so nice, never any problems, (but it does start getting crowded later in the afternoon).
See you all soon!!!
